Revival Windows

Local and technical SEO for a Utah window installation company selling across four core states, on a site that kept changing platforms underneath it.

Project Overview

Revival Windows is a window supply and installation company based in Orem, Utah, selling energy-efficient replacement windows and advertising a lifetime warranty on parts and labor. The company sells well beyond Utah, with markets in Colorado, Idaho, and Arizona, plus a Seattle, Washington location page.

I handled local and technical SEO for the business. The engagement was about visibility: making sure a company selling in multiple states shows up for window searches in each of its markets, and keeping search fundamentals in place while the website itself went through several platform changes.

The Challenge

The site's history is unusually turbulent. Public archives show it moved from a CRM landing page to WordPress, briefly to a React app, and then to a rebuilt WordPress site, all within about two years. Every platform change puts search visibility at risk: URLs change, pages disappear, and search engines have to re-learn the site.

On top of that, the business sells in markets hundreds of miles apart. Ranking in Orem does nothing for customers in Phoenix or Boise, so the site needed real location targeting for each metro, not just a services list.

My Role

My work focused on search visibility rather than on building the site itself.

  • Local SEO for the company's markets across Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Arizona, and Washington
  • Technical SEO: crawlability, indexing, sitemaps, and metadata
  • Performance and speed review of the WordPress build
  • A keyword-targeted homepage title and description covering the company's core states by name

The Solution

The visibility strategy centers on structure. The site carries a deep service architecture, 21 service pages covering window types, replacement services, doors, and treatments, plus a dedicated location page for each metro the company serves, and its homepage title and description target all four core states by name.

Location targeting extends past pages: six regional phone numbers live in the site markup, covering Utah, Colorado, Idaho, and Arizona area codes, so the business can tell which market a call came from before anyone picks up.

The technical side concentrated on fundamentals that survive platform changes: XML sitemaps registered in robots.txt, a crawlable page structure, and a homepage title and description written around the searches homeowners actually make.

Lead capture runs through the company's CRM, with the quote form embedded from its own branded form domain, and Google Tag Manager installed for tag management.

Technical Highlights

Multi-state location targeting

Dedicated pages for each metro the company serves, with regional phone numbers for the four core states.

Search-first homepage metadata

A homepage title and description targeting the company's core states by name, with a dedicated, indexable page for every service and metro.

Call and conversion tracking

Google Tag Manager plus six regional phone numbers give the business the plumbing to attribute leads to their market.

Fundamentals that survive redesigns

Sitemaps, crawlable structure, and search-focused homepage metadata, the SEO layer that outlasts platform changes.

Results & Outcome

Verified Results

  • 21 service pages and 6 metro location pages are live, reaching from Utah into four more states, with an XML sitemap declared in robots.txt and Google Tag Manager installed (checked August 2026).
  • Six regional phone numbers, covering Utah, Colorado, Idaho, and Arizona area codes, are present in the site markup, consistent with per-market call tracking.

Project Outcomes

  • Every market and every service has a page that can rank on its own, instead of one homepage carrying four states.
  • The work anchored to fundamentals designed to outlast redesigns and platform changes: sitemaps, crawlable structure, and search-focused metadata.
  • Visibility connects to measurement: the plumbing exists to attribute calls and quote requests to their market.
